Our booth at Otakon 2021 As we mentioned in the last entry, the pandemic caused us to miss a year and a half of events. This past weekend was a return to one of our special, hometown cons, Otakon! Otakon was the second convention we attended as vendors, back in 2005! We were as sad as everyone else when they were forced to cancel in 2020. This year's con saw safety regulations in place, which from our view (we were pretty much at our booth the entire time) seemed to be happily followed by everyone who visited us or passed...

It's been a crazy past year and a half or so, as most of the events we attend had to cancel because of the covid-19 pandemic. But we're happy to finally be able to say that many of these events are starting back up! We're so excited to be working with everyone who runs these conventions and festivals again as they bring their events back safely! And of course, we're super excited to see YOU and all of our con-friends/con-fam! Check out our newly updated Conventions Page for our upcoming shows! Today we started our very own YouTube channel! There's not much there at the moment, and we actually started it so that we'd have a video for this Saturday's Sakura Matsuri Virtual Community Gathering (which you should totally check out). One of our favorite newish items here at Alicia's Anime are the acrylic keychains. Cute and officially licensed! For our next entry we wanted to get a kid's perspective so we went to Ivy! Lately she's been all about the Mandalorian. We've loved watching it together as a family every week and had a blast enjoying season 2! Ivy's current favorites here at Alicia's Anime are anything Mandalorian related!
